On Monday, I had the pleasure of appearing on Leah Miller’s show on E!, Live With Leah. It was a great time. We got to talk about one of my favorite topics: cleansing.
Because, yup, spring is about to spring and we’re going to want to spring forward, too. Watch the segment to learn a little more about cleansing:
And if you want to know more about cleansing, fear not! If you’re in Toronto, check out our FREE seminar at Innate Health Centre:

Annnnd see below for one of the recipes I shared on the show, a smoothie that is packed with nutrients, filling, and delicious. As you probably noticed, I’m all about cleansing with real food as it’s easier on your body, and easier to sustain. Smoothies are a great way to get lots of naturally cleansing fruits and veggies into one place.
I started making this smoothie about two years ago when I had just returned from a month in Costa Rica. I was WILD about both mangoes and green smoothies. Why not combine the two?! I decided to do a cleanse during yoga teacher training, and found myself bringing this smoothie with me almost every day. It’s a perfect breakfast, snack or post-workout meal.
- 1/2 mango, peeled and cut into large chunks
- 1/4 cup organic coconut milk
- 1” piece of ginger, peeled
- 1 cup baby spinach (or as much as you dare)
- 1/4 tsp spirulina
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup filtered water
- Blend until smooth.
Wishing you a beautiful St. Patty’s weekend of eating lots of (naturally) green things! xo Andrea
