Matcha Elevation Shake

Drink this before you work out and experience true matcha elevation. Matcha is like the OG greens powder. Made from ground green tea leaves, matcha is rich in cleansing chlorophyll and antioxidants. One teaspoon in your blender (or mug) does a body good – especially before exercise. Chemicals called EGCG and catechins have been found to increase fat burning during exercise. L-theanine has been shown to stimulate alpha brain waves – these are the same brain waves stimulated during meditation.Who doesn’t want a focused and blissful piece of mind during exercise?

Ingredients
  1. 1.5-2 cups of water or a mix of nut milk and water
  2. 1 frozen banana
  3. 1 tbsp hemp seeds or 1 tsp coconut oil
  4. 1 tsp matcha powder
  5. 1 tsp maca (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Sip to whatever music makes you want to move your body.
