I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a holistic nutritionist with a passion for helping you look and feel your best, by helping you find what works for you.

When you’re not getting the proper nutrition, your body will tell you. It may feel like it’s impossible to get out of bed in the morning. Maybe your clothing just doesn’t fit anymore and you find it a struggle to get dressed in the morning. Your body doesn’t feel like it belongs to you. Your skin breaks out in a rash or a breakout. Your digestion is “off.” Your energy rises and dips like a roller coaster. Or you feel so crappy that you can’t be present for your family or employer.

Well believe me, I’ve been there.

Before I became a nutritionist, I worked in corporate marketing. I loved my job, but suffered from inattention, exhaustion and crippling headaches. Sure, I was into “healthy” living – I practiced yoga a few times a week and ate pretty well, but still used medication to deal with my sleep problems and headaches.

After losing my mother to cancer when I was 28, I had a wakeup call: change my approach to health… or else. I realized that physical health, more specifically nutrition, is the first piece of the puzzle. Optimize health first and find more energy for everything else.

I began a more regular yoga practice and bought nutrition and yoga books in hopes that I would figure out how to feel good again. I cleansed, not to take anything away, but to reconnect me with myself. Eventually, I resigned from my job and dedicated myself to finding the answer to this question. I did a yoga teacher training at Downward Dog Yoga Centre to better understand anatomy and the energetic body. I enrolled in a nutrition program at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and graduated a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) with first class honours. The rest is history.

I want to help you live your healthiest and most delicious life. Ever.

Now my mission is to share my knowledge and passion for food with you. Welcome to my website, a place where I share healthy and delicious recipes and real, actionable health tips that will help you feel your best.

I also work one-on-one with clients from around the world, to help them find what works for them. (Read what they’re saying.) And I offer cooking classes and cleanse programs. And I regularly contribute to outlets such as Huffington Post Canada and other blogs

In addition, I’ve spent some time working in the kitchen with Feel Good Guru’s Moira Nordholt, learning the craft of making ridiculously healthy and delicious vegan food. I’ve worked in an integrative naturopathic clinic. And I’ve studied practical herbalism with master herbalist, John Redden.

If you want nutrition advice spiked with humour and the odd hip hop reference, I’m your gal. Check out my Blog, Services and Recipes for more.
